Background
Gary R Cook
I made the Dean's List at East LA College, for my
combination of G.P.A. and Credits
I
studied Real Estate Principals & Practices, Appraisal and Property
Management and
graduated from my first semester in June 2010 from East Los Angeles College,
with 3-A's and
1-B and 45 credit hours towards my Appraiser Trainee license.
I
have registered with the California Department of Real Estate
for the Sales Agent exams.
I have another two semesters before I pass all the 150 hours of classes associated with the Appraisal Trainee
license (105 hours to go).
I
am working towards obtaining a A. S. degree from a local College, and will be studying such subjects as are
required,
plus other courses outside of strict Appraisal classes, including Real Estate Finance, Real Estate
Law,
Real Estate Economics, Escrow, Title & Accounting.
My goal is to be flexible as
possible, with my abilities and training,
to add as much value as I can to another company,
whether a private
business or a real estate broker.
I
am interested in joining the top real estate & appraisal industry organizations, including the Appraisal Institute,
IREM, CCIM, BOMA, CAANET and National Council of Exchangors or other 1031
Exchange groups.
The goal is to obtain the preferred
certifications and participate in their local
Los Angeles or Orange County chapters, so that I can
take additional courses the associations offer,
as well as network with their members.
I will also be privately studying
flipping single family homes, Business Brokering, REO's, Short
Sales IRC 1031 exchanges and syndications.
My
other license with the State of California is for Licensed Insurance Agent:
Property & Casualty, Life/Health/Annuities & Long Term Care.
I am also studying to get my Mortgage Loan Originator's license.
