Insurance Carrier Wanted

We are searching for an insurance carrier that insures for Builders Risk, in regards to the development of single-or-multi-family manufactured homes.

I am a licensed CA insurance agent. I'm working on a separate, independent project to create housing the middle class can afford to purchase/own in the California South Coast area.

These homes may be owned by a co-operative, and the land titled to a Community Land Trust; where the co-op owners will contract with a developer to create the homes. I am interested in speaking with insurers that insure co-operative housing associations, or those which insure for Builders Risk for contractors or building developers who create the new homes themselves.

I plan on utilizing manufactured housing, along with other styles of building. I'm not sure at this point in the business planning, as to whether the County Planning Departments will say the property will have to be subdivided, or may remain as one whole unit of land for the co-op's sake.

Do you have, or know of a builders risk policy, which would insure the developer similar to a condo developers latent defect association policy?

I understand that condo association policies are out of the financial ballpark for affordable housing and am hoping to find that the co-operative housing development policy for builders risk will be much less.
